We offer quality snooker coaching to boys and girls on most Saturday mornings between 10am and noon.
Our coaching is centred around fun activities designed to develop your game whilst providing maximum enjoyment.
Admission is just £1 per player, and there's no need to pre-book - just turn up on the day!

Annette hails from Rochdale and is an experienced World Snooker coach, fully DBS-cleared to work with children and adults. As well as being our lead coach for several years, Annette has played competitively on the Womens' Snooker Tour and is also a columnist for Snooker Scene magazine.
Iain gained his coaching accreditation in April 2025 and is also fully DBS-cleared to work with children and adults. Iain's had a long and successful amateur career and is also available for private coaching via his coaching brand Cueology.

Our two legends Mik and George (pictured here at Hollins Grove with former World Champion Cliff Thorburn) set up the Academy over 10 years ago.
Both are experienced players, and both have previously held roles on the club's committee. They regularly support our coaches each week as well as keeping our tables and facilities in first-class condition.
